This was going to be the Abyector... a word that doesn't exist in English, and was not in my vocabulary... but Abyecto in Spanish does exist and it basically means: someone that is really a scumbag... and since it doesn't exist in English, I will now baptize this cool creation of mine as an Abyector ©. Why not? this is my world, this is my realm.

And it is funny how sometimes words come to you... I was going to save this guy in Krita, but I lacked its name... and my inner voice told me: Why not Abyector? and I was like... what the fuck is an Abyector? what does that even mean? A little search with my friend, Mr. Google, and I mistook the first result which was in Spanish... so... a happy mistake.

Anyway...

I was thinking of introducing the machines on the second volume of my saga: a full robot armada, besieging our magical and strange world. I even wrote the chapter for it, but I decided to wait... there will be robots, but just small killing squads terrorizing here and there. The Abyector, for example, is a hunting killing machine. Its techno cells can mimic the surrounding environment. It has long and powerful limbs, and uses its sharp claws to silently kill the enemy. These are the vanguard troops of the machine squads. So... more problems for the good old Saurians and Orcs... they need to suffer a little bit more.

I haven't started on the cover for the second book, but I have something already in my mind. The first cover was a little bit technological, if you wish, this time it will be more nature friendly. And here is another thing, because you have this nice concept floating in your brain, but traducing it to a digital painting is kind of hard, and sometimes you end up with a total different product, i.e. my first cover:
First I was trying to draw an altered embryo or cell, and I played a lot with the images and gradients... I'm happy with the final product; you have no idea what the fuck is depicted... another happy accident1

I was in Jalisco last month. Me and my dad were aligning a little hydro-generator (3.3 MW). We were paired up with a group of maintenance that lacked a lot of tools, but we managed to get the machine in working condition. The generator comes from Spain, and I think the big boss also comes from Spain. Spaniards and people from different countries come to invest in our country, and is not because they are so kind to us... its money they want (of course), and the current energetic situation in Mexico is not yet stabilized. We were in Jalisco when we heard about the incident in Hidalgo:
So... the town people of this community were using crude tools to extract gasoline, and of course, a big explosion ensued. You can later see people running and burning. I think the current death toll is around 100... sigh...

The new government promised to tackle corruption. They are closing clandestine gasoline outlets, and I think last week, they detained a big PEMEX modified ship that was stealing tons of it. This is the result of being a corrupt nation. I just hope that some of the big fat cats start to fall. We mexicans, really needed some justice, and you know? It feels sooooo good.
The markets are reacting good to these good news. The mexican peso is gaining some of its former value against the all mighty dollar. We just need to keep on working and show the world that we are good quality people, but man... having a bunch of fucking arseholes directing your country is not good at all; although, not everyone is of my opinion.

Speaking of irrational masses, I have a bunch of relatives who would be happier with more of the same shit; some of them, even believe that Mexico is condemned and will face the same future as Venezuela, and somehow, they truly believe that the best conditions for life is to have an elite party, and a bunch of poor people to control. Is this thought socialist or capitalist? I think stating otherwise is just common sense, why would the elites be in control of everything while the rest of the world is suffering? Sadly, this is the world that we are living in, this is the current status quo. A good education, a good place to live, a good job should be accessible for everyone, not just the lucky selected few, and btw... we humans are really hurting the planet. It would be another thing if we used our overpopulation to start colonizing Moon and Mars... so if you elect me as your Supreme New Leader... I promise to get you there: a wonderful paradise in Moon or Mars with no races (we could fix this by breeding in a sort of lottery) and no religion (I'm sorry, but zealots will get a free pass to the sun). English will be institutionalized as the new global language, and people will be obliged to learn German, Spanish, Russian, and Japanese, that paired with advanced maths and sciences, plus martial arts.

Vote for me!

1. As a matter of fact... it does have an explanation... kind of... pro tip: You need to read the full first book

I am starting a blog today... Somehow, I think that it will help me out with my book selling (which is at zero right now) This is the book I got from Amazon, it is a "proof" book. I was so happy when I first got it, and then as always, you start checking the little details. In this case, the margin is not properly cut, and it did have some minor details on my behalf, e.g. I did have two repeated 21 chapters, and many little inconsistencies everywhere. My father told me that it was ok, the most important thing was the contents, and yes, part of me agree with him, while the fascist part of me: the one that wishes to end all of humanity in a hellish ocean of fire, tells me that the devil is in the details. Both are right. So last night, I was correcting all these stupid minor details, that and at the same time I was fighting with my computer software. Let me explain: I love Microsoft Word, I grew working with the stupid program, it was the only option back then, r

Your Mexican telenovela

Last week we went to help our maid , domestic worker. Her name is María. Mexican poor people are the same height as hobbits, they are not dwarves, and I'm not trying to be funny here, it's actually pretty depressing. They should be the same height as other people, but they have genetics and malnutrition as well. I remember that some decades ago, everybody was always drinking home made "fruit" water. e.g. Lime water (in Mexico, we call them Limones, but the gringos say that those are limes), Jamaica water (Jamaica is a flower), Horchata (which is made of rice), and Tamarindo (an acidic sweet bulbous fruit), and it was beautiful, and into this paradise came Coca-Cola, with all its production and factories... another conquerer to fuck us over. My parents are really nice with the people that does domestic work, and they also try to help poor people. I guess they have been like this to teach us to always be humble to whoever lack stuff. from bad authors & more

First... let me show you guys my freaking new books ... which are pretty cool Me and my family bought some of them, I gotta tell you that these are way better than the "proof" books, perhaps they put more effort when the customers are "real".  I was pretty happy when they arrived, so happy that I continued my second book, well, that and the fact that I have a little more time for the writing.  We are in Tlaxcala, another state in Mexico... it's really cold and windy, but the panoramics are something wonderful. This is my real job, we are specialists in mechanical vibration analysis, so we go and check different machines, and we also give a technical training to analysts... I lied to you guys, I am not really an author, If I were, I would already be dead of starvation or something. The Tlaxcaltecas were an indigenous tribe in Mexico, they were paying tribute to the triple alliance ( Mexicas, Texcoco, and Tlacopan )... Indigenous tribes in Mexico
