Gliders

Gliders are supposed to be fighters for the Saurian Empire
Mechanically, these guys have two heavy disks that could make them do incredible maneuvers(due to the centrifugal force), and since Saurians are always genetically engineering every single soul in their ranks, there might be an engineered Saurian pilot... I like the color, it reminds me of the Zentraedi from Macross,
by the way... I just got into pinterest ¬¬ just to get a hold of this image...

And of course... Saurians and their alliance are fighting against the evil Machines, and I was wondering about machine reflexes compared to "organic" reflexes. I also remember that there was a beautiful movie (Macross related), where the "organic" pilots fight against a computerized ship. I really don't know much about the body exposed to high accelerations, but I know that some can loose consciousness due to something with the blood on their legs... I need to check this out, because I might put some Saurian pilots on the second book.

This is the movie I was talking, check it out, it's really cool,

Today I wanted to talk about Folklore, even the word is enticing to the ear.
Some few years ago, I went to England with my former girlfriend, she knew that I loved comics, so she brought me to this fantastic place in Brighton, and here I got some really neat compilations of Hellboy. I bought two tomes of them. Later on, I got myself entangled with a Puertorican girl... she had such a lovely nice ass, and she was really pretty, but she was mentally sick... something to do with lots of prescription drugs and a shitty past life... I lend her these books, and she kept them forever (never lend your comic books to anyone that might be mentally ill), but I got to mention Hellboy, because Mike Mignola is a hell of an artist/writer, and he likes to put a lot of folklore into his work.

I think that the first reference of magic things being afraid of iron was from him... there is a wonderful story about a little boy who got abducted by elfs, and he starts misbehaving, so Hellboy brings a piece of iron and the elf is burnt by it, or something like that(Iwould like to check this story in my Hellbook book, but its gone...), and then, that little piece of detail (magic beings being burnt by iron) gets in the mind of everybody, e.g. The troll series by Guillermo del Toro, or the disney movie, maleficent, This new influx of old details revives the folklore  for the new generations.

After all, its all these little details that create such wonderful stories, and are often ignored by many authors and readers. I don't know if it might happened to any of you, but I sometimes need to read a book twice to check for the little details. I got the same problem with tv series, for example, Rick and Morty is so amazingly detailed that I needed to check it twice, and that's what you want in one of your fans, you need to keep him/she interested, fantasized, mesmerized.

Agggghhhh!!! Update on my state of affairs:

Good News.- The second book is nicely coming out (50 pages by now).

Bad News.- I used an old Toshiba computer with Linux Mint... I was actually writting this blog while listening to my "super mix" (I will put the list here, there are so many good songs in there), when it just went black... sometimes, whenever I use to put some effort on it, the whole system usually went retarded. In such cases I just turned it off and waited for it to recover (one or two hours). This time the trick won't work. I checked if there were ants inside(I have little tiny ants every fucking where), but it looks clean... it justs stopped working... sigh

Next time, unknown buddies, I will let you know why I hate and love ants. Until then, see you and hope you guys have a jolly great day.

Elf squad

"One of Menna's magical traps violently sprung off: a ghostly form could be seen fighting it, but for now remained immobilized. Ferana gripped her twin blades in expectation. She didn't make a sound, but everyone prepared themselves for the oncoming battle" This is part of the second book... It has, right now, 86 pages, but I think it will be larger than the previous one . That's the first one... I have been thinking about how some novels are better as series, and some others are better as movies. Is like with music; there is music to dance, and there is music just to listen Movies that should have been series: All the Harry Potter movies Bright Movies that are good as movies: The Lord of the Rings And series that are good as series: Game of Thrones And you know why? HP is almost a diary. When you read it, you are immersed into the daily routine of Harry with their friends, and there is a lot of background stories (common stuff h...
The evolution of my drawings... I have always loved to draw. that was perhaps the reason why I never got any good grades back in my school, I was busy drawing... I used to draw some really nasty things... the cartoonists in Mexico have always been a little explicit, and coming from the liberal mexican family that I come from, we would get newspapers like "La Jornada" with cartoons like these: Which was perfectly suitable for boys around that age. Boys at that age, love to see tits, violence and chaos, change my mind, I dare you... anyway.  Problem was that my drawings were bad, or maybe not that bad, maybe with the same style that this cartoonist (Trino) is drawing, which is not very "aesthetic". Around that age, japanese cartoons were invading our children's minds. There was this little boy who loved to draw the "caballeros del zodiaco" which was really popular in Mexico, that and the simpsons, and the human mind is wonderful, you gr...

Darkness Inside

I am still playing Battle of Wesnoth. Addictive and difficult to master. It has some strategy in it as well as some basic rules. My most experienced Ghast has 123 Hp, my Spectre is at 53 Hp, Nightgaunt at 50 Hp, and one of my sorcerer has 92 Hp. But you can tell that we are in deep trouble. It's the 19th turn and the Orcs are still deploying units. I remember playing this a few years ago. Ubuntu was an almost new creation, you were seeing it everywhere. It promised of a better future for computers, a brighter place for free software, but it stalled. On that particular moment, I was having trouble with my own computer. I probably got it inside the Pirate Bay without protection. A proper analogy of this is to put a famished white skinny boy into a maximum security mexican prison... he is going to get his ass raped. I decided to do the unthinkable, I ditched windows and installed a brand new copy of Ubuntu. I then started tried to do everything into this new ambient. H...
