Sergovnians

Sergovnians are an alien species and members of the Congregation. They are not as aggressive as the Saurians are, but are often elected as captains and admirals of whole congregation fleets. This is due to their logical and strategical decision taking. They are also cold hearted leaders, who won't think twice about loosing some thousand of their members in order to win a battle. The bulgy looking thing around his cranium is part of his brain.
They also got four hands... and you know, one can invent whatever in their books, but I was thinking... okay... four hands in where? This is when an author is confronted by their own bullshit...

I decided to add the two other limbs in front of his chest. I was thinking of the Alien Queen (so sexy and magnificent)
Not my drawing of course (I would love to draw like this). And here I was drawing thinking that perhaps his frontal limbs can be used in his programming tasks (these guys are nerds), or maaaaaybeeee, they use these extra limbs for making love to their females. This is something that I am always telling my wife. How I wished to have more limbs to grope her while my other hands are busy holding her hips or shoulders, but of course, these guys are nerds[1]; nerds don't have a sex life. By the way... the Alien Queen is a concept created by James Cameron, and aliens is the best movie of the franchise... is a shame of what they are doing to Predator and all these stupid recent films about Alien (the covenant and the other one), superb CGI, but the plot and logic are lacking...

Then I remembered about XCOM. In XCOM the final aliens are guys with four arms... they are supposed to be psionic, so I hope they don't sue me.
Now that I am looking at them, their other hands are not as small as in my creation, so I guess we are cool.

Good news: I just signed a contract with Random House, so I got myself an editor. I showed him my blog, and he told me that I really need to work on its content... no more drunk posts, everything double checked, and stop talking nonsense  (I am joking, this editor is yet another fragment of my imagination), but seriously... these posts need to be ordered and I will put links on them... I am thinking of setting a page... stuff for the future.

The post above, the picture from the post above, is an attempt to create a bestiary for all the beings and mythic creatures from my novels, and you know, many of them are not my creations, but it would be nice to have a bestiary, with nice, glossy, colorful drawings of the different beings plus maps, and make a nice compendium (also, future work), a real digital artist could do great for the work. Let's be honest about it... my drawings suck donkey balls when you compare them to real digital artists (still, I love to draw and will keep on doing so)

Good news (2): I got another old laptop and I installed Xubuntu on it (pretty neat), but I still need to get used to its keyboard. The laptop is pink (it was my sister's), but I am not complaining.

I am writing this while watching a very bad movie, something about a female robber that is killing lots of killers (Momentum). They have a scene were a black guy attempts to rape a woman (nothing happens), but it reminded me of Trance
It has a similar scene, and you should check it out if you haven't (plus, you get to see Rosario Dawson[2] totally naked!!), that movie is mature. There is a rape attempt, but here you are actually worried about the woman, you despise the rapist and you hope that somehow, she will be spared (I won't spoil it for you, just go and check it out), but you know... this movie got a good director, great actors, and a lovely plot, nothing like the shit I am watching today.
This has nothing to do with anything, but I think it is a nice piece of culture to share (since we have so many different international viewers)... Today I took my parents to a bus station, and I was hearing on the radio this wonderful song:
It's traditional south Mexican music (mainly from Veracruz), they usually say some funny things, but what I like the most is the harp... I hope you like it.

Aaaaaand that will be everything for today *getting poked in the ribs by my imaginary editor in chief (his last name is Jameson)...

Yes, yes, and here is the link for my book

Take care, have a good weekend, and see you guys around.

[1] Next post is going to be about that time when a Nerd (an angry one), almost kicked my ass.

[2] She has still a nice body, but it's not about her body, she has this sexy look in her eyes, her eyes are doing all the talking

Elf squad

"One of Menna's magical traps violently sprung off: a ghostly form could be seen fighting it, but for now remained immobilized. Ferana gripped her twin blades in expectation. She didn't make a sound, but everyone prepared themselves for the oncoming battle" This is part of the second book... It has, right now, 86 pages, but I think it will be larger than the previous one . That's the first one... I have been thinking about how some novels are better as series, and some others are better as movies. Is like with music; there is music to dance, and there is music just to listen Movies that should have been series: All the Harry Potter movies Bright Movies that are good as movies: The Lord of the Rings And series that are good as series: Game of Thrones And you know why? HP is almost a diary. When you read it, you are immersed into the daily routine of Harry with their friends, and there is a lot of background stories (common stuff h...
The evolution of my drawings... I have always loved to draw. that was perhaps the reason why I never got any good grades back in my school, I was busy drawing... I used to draw some really nasty things... the cartoonists in Mexico have always been a little explicit, and coming from the liberal mexican family that I come from, we would get newspapers like "La Jornada" with cartoons like these: Which was perfectly suitable for boys around that age. Boys at that age, love to see tits, violence and chaos, change my mind, I dare you... anyway.  Problem was that my drawings were bad, or maybe not that bad, maybe with the same style that this cartoonist (Trino) is drawing, which is not very "aesthetic". Around that age, japanese cartoons were invading our children's minds. There was this little boy who loved to draw the "caballeros del zodiaco" which was really popular in Mexico, that and the simpsons, and the human mind is wonderful, you gr...

Darkness Inside

I am still playing Battle of Wesnoth. Addictive and difficult to master. It has some strategy in it as well as some basic rules. My most experienced Ghast has 123 Hp, my Spectre is at 53 Hp, Nightgaunt at 50 Hp, and one of my sorcerer has 92 Hp. But you can tell that we are in deep trouble. It's the 19th turn and the Orcs are still deploying units. I remember playing this a few years ago. Ubuntu was an almost new creation, you were seeing it everywhere. It promised of a better future for computers, a brighter place for free software, but it stalled. On that particular moment, I was having trouble with my own computer. I probably got it inside the Pirate Bay without protection. A proper analogy of this is to put a famished white skinny boy into a maximum security mexican prison... he is going to get his ass raped. I decided to do the unthinkable, I ditched windows and installed a brand new copy of Ubuntu. I then started tried to do everything into this new ambient. H...
